New
photos from the field are giving us a rare
glimpse
into the lives of clouded leopards.
The
above photographs were taken April 11, 2005 by Anders Ranqvist during
a night spotlighting
wildlife drive inTabin
Wildlife Reserve in Sabah,
Malaysia.
The above
photos were taken in Thailand's Khao Yai National Park. Park wildlife
rangers recovered a road-killed barking deer and secured it to a
tree to see what it might attract. The results - a beautiful clouded
leopard! Thanks to WildAid, Khao Yai National Park, and the Smithsonian
for sharing the photographs.
